More About Me

Phil Hunt joins us as a
native Arkansan from Ft. Smith and an Air Force veteran.  He and his wife
of 42 years, Valerie, have lived in Thailand, South Africa, and Kenya for 11
years as Missionaries.  Phil raised his children in the Oklahoma City area
and moved back to the NW Arkansas area in 2020.  Phil’s likes to pick his
banjo, play the guitar, hunting, fishing, and go RVing.  Phil was raised
and learned carpentry from his father, became an Air Traffic Controller with
the FAA, and has been an IT Technical Supervisor for the last 9 years. 
Phil is the father of twin sons and the grandfather eight including twin
grandsons.  During his time with the FAA, Phil’s Air Traffic Control
career was at the Fayetteville airport and knew most of the corporate pilots in
NW Arkansas in the early 1980s.
